Fear Knocks started as a project in a writing class at Naropa University in February 2006.  I wanted to fill a niche that did not exist in e-publication, in fact, e-publication was just starting, and an e-zine catering to horror, mystery, and suspense was non-existent. In addition, there were delusions of grandeur; I dreamt Fear Knocks would one day become a print-journal.

That same year, Fear Knocks Press was established, but has primarily produced annual chapbooks during the Christmas season for friends and family, which has continued annually, with the last issue being December 2015. In 2011, the last official issue of Fear Knocks was released; however, the idea and website have continued to live. This latest iteration will be my official blog, if I can figure out WordPress.

Here are links to the previous issues – for some reason, Lucky #7 is Missing in Action – I’ve included a grad school project, A Tree in Antarctica in its place. WARNING: Not Mobile Friendly:)
